Starting a list of haves and wants for books on hand post SHTF.
These books are what I consider to be classic.

1st) this is not a list of “prepper” books, (i.e. the boy scouts hand book or the SAS handbook.

2nd) this list does not include the Bible, [As I already have Bibles in over 2 dozen English translations, Bibles in several other languages (including German, spanish, dutch, korean, and pigeon English (it’s a thing)].

    what books would you want?

I also have a collection of old Bibles with my oldest going back about 170 years if I recall correctly. Some of the early family Bibles had additional info to explain about things and places in distant lands.

Atlas Shrugged since I felt I have been living in that book lately.
    Shakespear (spelled correctly of course)
    Plato’s Republic

Does the CRC Handbook and Machineries Handbook count as prepper books?

A hard-copy encyclopedea since you will need to “Google” without Google.

All of the engineering books I can lay my hands on and a full set of math books from basic thru quantum mechanics and everything in between.

That is all that comes to mind at the moment.

I hope God is smiling on you and yours!
